Active Fitness adds 3D maps

Both Active Fitness and Winter Sports apps for Windows 10 Mobile have been updated with 3D maps. Microsoft recently announced 3D maps availability for Universal apps at its annual //BUILD conference. This makes Active Fitness and Winter Sports by far the coolest looking tracking apps on Windows. You can also share your 3D routes and trails on social networks, such as Facebook and Twitter and add photos to existing trails. This is especially cool for activities such as hiking, skiing, snowboarding or even activities in the cities. Let’s look at some of the 3D maps in Active Fitness. Some of the coolest looking 3D trails:

Skiing in France (Courchevel and Trois Vallees)

Walking in New York (Near Empire State Building)

Cycling in San Francisco (Crossing Golden Gate Bridge)
